Whatever your project’s plumbing needs, Marlin Mechanical has the time-tested expertise to get the job done without sacrificing quality for efficiency or efficiency for quality. Our techniques have been honed over 30 years of new construction plumbing installation.

A prime example is prefabrication.  By assembling portions of the plumbing system in a controlled environment at our own specially equipped facility we significantly reduce the amount of time, and thus labor costs, required for those assemblies.  We design each segment once and assemble it as many times as necessary.  In addition to labor savings, this method ensures that each portion of the system is built to code and to the specifications of the client.  Also, instead of filling up the dumpsters on the project all packaging and waste from the materials used in prefabrication are disposed of before they even reach the jobsite.  Performing this work in a controlled environment away from the project not only eliminates mistakes caused by the distractions present on any construction site, it reduces problems caused by environmental factors such as dust, debris and heat.

Ashton Pointe

This 314 unit apartment project comprised of five 3 story buildings, seven 2 story carriage buildings, one clubhouse building and one exercise building is located in Avondale, AZ. The General Contractor was MT Builders and Marlin’s plumbing foreman was Richard Aguilar. This project was started in 2008 and completed in 2009.

Devine Legacy

This 65 unit apartment project comprised of one 4 story building with a parking garage is located in Phoenix, AZ. The General Contractor was Adolfson & Peterson Construction and Marlin’s plumbing foremen were Dick Passe and Val Turley. This project was started in 2010 and completed in 2011.

Waterford at Peoria

This 200 unit apartment project comprised of eleven 3 story buildings is located in Peoria, AZ. The General Contractor was MT Builders and Marlin’s plumbing foremen were Keith Burgess and Val Turley. This project was started in 2006 and completed in 2007.

Rehoboth Place

This 47 unit apartment project comprised of two 3 story buildings is located in Phoenix, AZ. The General Contractor was Decca Multi-Family Builders and Marlin’s plumbing foremen were Tom Isom and Val Turley. This project was started in 2010 and completed in 2011.

Roosevelt Square Apartments

This four story apartment project with more than 300 units is located in downtown Phoenix, AZ. The General Contractor was Post Development and Marlin’s plumbing foreman was Richard Aguilar. This multi-stage project was started in 1999 and completed in 2001.

STUDENT HOUSING

Marlin’s extensive apartment experience has translated well into student housing. We have plumbed many student housing projects including four – with our fifth and sixth currently underway – for Grand Canyon University and Pono Construction

Grand Canyon University – Sedona Hall

This 5 story, 255 bathroom student housing dormitory project in Phoenix, AZ was started in January 2012 and completed in July 2012. Pono Construction was the General Contractor of this extremely fast paced project. Marlin’s plumbing team was lead by Gary Webster, Bob Pilles and Val Turley.

Assisted living facilities require knowledge of multi-unit residential plumbing as well as commercial plumbing. Marlin’s wide variety of experience is uniquely suited to this type of project.

Mountain Park Senior Living

This two and three story, 133 unit assisted living project is located in Ahwatukee, AZ. Marlin’s foremen were Richard Aguilar and Val Turley and the General Contractor was MT Builders. This project was started in 2011 and completed in 2012.

HOTELS AND RESORTS

Hotels and resorts are also a hybrid of commercial and multi-unit residential plumbing. As before, this makes Marlin uniquely suited to these types of projects.

Wild Horse Pass Resort

This 500 room resort and casino project is located in Chandler, AZ. Marlin’s foreman was Tom Isom and the General Contractor was Hunt Construction. This project was started in 2001 and completed late the same year.

Holiday Inn Express

Marlin installed the plumbing in this four story hotel project located in Phoenix, AZ. The General Contractor was Steve Horve Builders. Work on this project concluded in 2003

Residence Inn by Marriott

Marlin installed the plumbing in this three story hotel project located in Goodyear, AZ. The General Contractor was WE O’Neil. This project was started in 2004 and completed in 2005

COMMERCIAL / TENANT IMPROVEMENTS

Marlin has been plumbing light and medium commercial facilities since the company’s founding. To date, Marlin has installed the plumbing in over 100 Starbucks Coffee Houses and construction was recently completed on our 70th Papa John’s Pizza location.

GCU College of Arts and Sciences

This 4 story Arts and Sciences building project in Phoenix, AZ was started in February 2012 and completed in July 2012. The General Contractor of this extremely fast paced project was Pono Construction. Our plumbing team was lead by Gary Webster and Dick Passe..

USA Youth Fitness Center

This USA Youth Fitness Center is located in Gilbert, AZ. Marlin’s foreman was Elliot Correa and the General Contractor was Decca Builders. This project was started in 2011 and completed in 2012

Hayden Ferry Lakeside

This iconic 8 floor office building project is located on Tempe Town Lake in Tempe, AZ. The General Contractor was McCarthy Building Companies. This project was started in 2001 and completed in 2002.

Papa John's Pizza

This Papa John’s Pizza project located in Maricopa, AZ was completed in 2012. It is the 69th Papa John’s location plumbed by Marlin with another, our 70th, just recently completed.
